Visual identity & logo for MxKO Hair - a queer, gender-neutral barbershop run by Mako, a non-binary barber, in Hackney Wick.
Drawing upon the concept of “Non-binary by nature”, the visual identity for MxKO, is represented by playful illustrations of gender-neutral creatures. The theme of connection within the queer community is represented through the overlapped characters in the logo and usage of multiple, overlayed stickers. The vibrant colour palette is drawn from a cut and colour by Mako.
